Meet the Raven Community Care Team

Mag
Managing Director | Registered Social Worker

As a passionate advocate for vulnerable communities, I have dedicated over a decade of my career to creating meaningful change and fostering resilience among those who need it most. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (2017) and extensive experience across various sectors, I have worked with children, young people, adults, and the elderly, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs.
I began my career as a Social Worker, offering critical assistance to refugees and asylum seekers seeking safety and stability in Australia. In 2017, I transitioned into the Out of Home Care sector, where I worked extensively with the state’s most vulnerable young people. Over the years, I have held a range of key positions, including Senior Operations Manager, Therapeutic Manager, and Case Manager/Social Worker. My focus was on supporting young people with complex needs and significant disabilities through the Department of Community and Justice’s Intensive Therapeutic Care model.
In January 2023, I joined Justice Health as a Mental Health Social Worker, offering mental health case management and counseling to high-risk inmates in a maximum-security correctional complex. This role enhanced my ability to provide compassionate, tailored support in high-pressure environments.
As the Managing Director of Raven Community Care, I am proud to lead a dedicated team that shares my vision for person-centered, empowering care. Together, we are committed to delivering services that transform lives and promote long-term well-being for the most vulnerable members of our community.
I am excited to continue this journey and showcase the passion and expertise that Raven Community Care embodies in every aspect of our work.

Leena
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations at Raven Community Care, I lead the strategic management of all operational functions, including onboarding, intake, compliance, and service delivery. My role ensures our systems and teams function efficiently and compassionately to support the complex needs of the individuals and communities we serve.
I work closely with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement, enhance staff development, and align operations with our mission of care, inclusion, and excellence. My focus is on creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and client-centered service.
Alongside my role, I am pursuing a Psychology degree at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), which deepens my understanding of mental health and human behavior. This academic insight informs my leadership approach and supports evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
What drives me is a strong commitment to social impact. I see this role not just as operational leadership, but as an opportunity to champion dignity, equity, and meaningful outcomes for society’s most vulnerable. By empowering our teams and refining our systems, I aim to ensure that every interaction with Raven Community Care reflects professionalism, empathy, and trust.

Amira
Admin and Compliance Manager
I’m Amira, and I look after all things admin and compliance here at Raven Community Care. My job is to make sure we’re not only meeting NDIS requirements but also creating a strong foundation that supports both our team and the people we care for. Whether it's refining our internal systems, preparing for audits, or keeping on top of policy updates, I’m here to ensure everything runs efficiently, ethically, and with the highest standards in mind.
What I love most about my role is knowing that the work I do helps create a safe, organised, and supportive environment, one where participants feel valued and our team can focus on delivering quality care.
I’m proud to be part of a service that puts people first and constantly strives to do better.
At Raven, we’re all about heart, accountability, and making a real difference in people’s lives, and I’m grateful to be a part of that mission.

Zach
Support Manager
As Support Manager at Raven Community Care, I play a key role in supporting our frontline team and helping ensure the quality and consistency of care across all our services. My responsibilities include conducting regular performance reviews, facilitating ongoing training, and providing staff with the guidance and feedback they need to grow in their roles.
I’m passionate about creating an environment where every team member feels confident, capable, and supported to deliver their best work. In addition to team development, I assist with rostering, delegation, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. I believe good systems and strong communication are the foundation of great care—and I work hard to make sure our team is set up for success.
I also stay actively connected with participants through regular check-ins, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and well-supported. These conversations help guide our approach and ensure we’re always aligning support with individual goals and needs.
For me, it’s all about finding the balance between supporting our team and making sure every participant receives the high-quality, person-centred care they deserve. I’m proud to be part of a service that values both its people and its purpose.
